Rewilding our Heart ~ Sri Lanka Yoga Retreat
Rewilding our Heart ~ Sri Lanka Yoga Retreat
June 21–27, 2026 | 6 Nights / 7 Days
“Let’s take our hearts for a walk in the woods & listen to the magic whispers of the old trees." — Unknown
Join Maree Taylor for a bespoke deeply nourishing yoga retreat in the lush jungles of Sri Lanka, where nature, wildlife, and ancient healing traditions come together in a truly unforgettable setting.
We’ll stay in a secluded eco-lodge near Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle, surrounded by forest, lakes, and abundant birdlife. Accommodation is shared rustic luxe glamping in traditional mud huts — simple, beautiful, and immersed in nature.
Each day includes twice-daily yoga and meditation in an open-air lakeside shala, with practices created to uncover the essence of our true nature. Sri Lanka is a renowned centre for Ayurveda, and optional treatments with traditional specialists — including massage, herbal baths, and shirodhara — will be available. Ayurveda helps you "swim with the current" of your own nature rather than fighting against it, allowing health to become a natural, effortless outcome.
Rooted in Ayurvedic principles, this retreat supports a gentle rewilding of the heart, inviting us to live in closer relationship with nature, our bodies, and our inner rhythms.
We’ll also explore beyond the mat with two special excursions:
Wilpattu National Park safari
The ancient sacred city of Anuradhapura
